Mr. Urbańczak was appointed a Prosecutor for the Regional Prosecution Office Nowe Miasto in Poznań in 2001, and in 2003 was appointed to the Investigations Department of the Office, where he focused on business-related crime. He was a Deputy of the Regional Prosecutor for the Regional Prosecution Office Nowe Miasto in Poznań from 2005 to 2007, and was part of the White-collar Crime Department of the District Prosecution Office from 2007 to 2009.
At the firm, Mr. Urbańczak deals with general corporate services, capital market law, financial law, responsibility for economic crimes as well as the responsibilities of board members. He handles civil and economic cases and renders legal services to business entities. Specializing in substantive and procedural criminal law, he has successfully defended in numerous economic, tax, medical, environmental and financial proceedings of a complex nature. He is a former Prosecutor at both the Regional and District Prosecution Offices, dealing with white-collar crime for many years. He participates in the activities of the Poznań Association of Scholars of Criminal Law at the Faculty of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, and co-authored the commentary to the act on capital market supervision, published by Wolters Kluwer in 2011.
