Yesterday in Wrocław Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Science Mr. Jarosław Gowin, the Mayor of Wrocław Mr. Rafał Dutkiewicz and the rectors of Wrocław’s universities signed an agreement by which the State Treasury acquired shares in the Wrocław EIT+ Research Centre.
SMM Legal’s lawyers provided comprehensive legal advisory throughout the process, from the restructuring and acquisition of shares to successful completion of the transaction. The project was coordinated by Prof. Maciej Mataczyński, Managing Partner at SMM Legal. The intended long-term effect of the agreement is to marry the potential of science and the economy, while the centre itself is to become a core element of the National Institute of Technology.
