An advocate specialising in energy law. Mr. Szwarc participates in energy transition-related processes. He supports the development of renewable energy sources.

He has advised businesses from the electricity and gas sectors. He has carried out a number of due diligence audits and RES-related transactions. What is more, he advises clients in proceedings before courts and public administration authorities, including the President of the Energy Regulatory Office. He has been involved in negotiations regarding grid connection agreements and PPAs. On top of this, he has participated in licensing procedures and processes aimed at awarding subsidies for solar, biogas and CHP plants.

Mr. Szwarc has contributed to a number of conferences and training courses on Energy Law and RES.

Before joining SMM Legal, he worked with Warsaw-based law firms specialising in energy law, the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Energy Regulatory Office.
