Dr Dybowski holds a PhD in law and is an assistant professor at the Chair of Theory and Philosophy of Law at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. From 2007 to 2012, he was a member of the Management Board of the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights in Vienna.
Experience
Advisor and later plenipotentiary to the Commissioner for Human Rights (2006–2010) and secretary of the editorial board of the journal “Ius et Lex”.
In 2002–2003, he was a scholarship holder of the Stefan Batory Foundation, in 2008 of the Foundation for Polish Science, and in 2009 a scholarship holder and trainee at the University of Hull (UK).
Author of the book “Fundamental Rights in ECJ Case Law” (C.H. Beck, 2007) and numerous articles, reviews and academic translations in the fields of legal theory, philosophy of law and individual rights.
