Mr. Stańczyk supports business, science and the public sector on issues related to innovation financing and green transformation. He has advised companies listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, in M&A transactions, JVs and projects related to the acquisition and management of corporate infrastructure. He contributed to the establishment of two public venture capital investment vehicles worth more than PLN 1 billion. He has experience in creating and reviewing internal regulations in companies in regulated sectors.

He is particularly interested in green energy issues. He has completed 11 contracts for innovative services in the pre-commercial mode, including 10 implementing the objectives of the European Green Deal. He is involved in popularizing in Poland the possibility of financing innovation from the EU Horizon Europe program.

He led the legal team implementing three contracts for breakthrough technologies in the area of hydrogen storage and its use in wheeled transportation and heating. In 2023, he received a named award from the Minister of Climate and Environment for his work on the Hydrogen Agreement (Sectoral Agreement for the Development of the Hydrogen Economy). In 2024, SMM Legal received an award for attorney Stańczyk’s work for his long-term contribution to building the legal and legislative environment for innovation in the area of the hydrogen market in Poland (the award was presented at MOVE – International Mobility Congress).

Author of the monograph “Articles of Association of a Joint Stock Company as a means of defense against hostile takeovers” and numerous press and academic publications in the field of commercial company law and financing of innovative projects.

Repeatedly recognized in the international ranking of The Legal 500.

Winner of 2nd place in the European Innovation Procurement Awards EUIPA 2021 organized by the European Innovation Council. The project he co-created was a flexible legal model for the implementation of green innovation procurement.
