Piotr Ruchała. Advocate. Senior Associate.
Mr. Ruchała is an expert in intellectual property law, unfair competition law and obligations law. He has advised clients in disputes concerning the infringement of intellectual property rights, unfair trade practices, improper performance of contractual obligations, and has provided them with advice in the process of negotiating and drafting contracts, specialising in contracts on IT technologies. He has represented clients in disputes before common courts and the Polish Patent Office.
Mr. Ruchała is a PhD Candidate in the European Law Section at the Faculty of Law and Administration of Adam Mickiewicz University, where he is working on his dissertation on copyright. He has also taught classes on intellectual property law, as well as Polish and European civil law.
An author of publications on copyright and obligations law, he has presented papers on intellectual property law and trade in cultural goods at numerous academic conferences.
Mr. Ruchała graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.
