He has been working with SMM Legal since 2012. He has carried out projects, among others, for clients from the banking, energy, chemical, trade fair, and IT sectors.

He represents clients and advises them in court disputes, including matters concerning infringements of intellectual property rights, acts of unfair competition, claims for damages caused by anticompetitive agreements, the use of abusive clauses, violations of personal rights, and disputes arising from commercial contracts, as well as in filing and contentious proceedings before the Polish Patent Office and EUIPO and in proceedings before the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK).

He drafts and negotiates contracts, in particular those relating to the commercialisation of intellectual property and specialised agreements concerning IT products and services, including agreements for the creation, implementation, and development of software, maintenance agreements, licence agreements, and source code escrow agreements. He also participates in due diligence processes.

He was involved in the creation of the first arbitration panel in Poland handling disputes between exhibitors in the field of intellectual property law and unfair competition law for a leading entity in the trade fair industry.

He is a co-author of commentaries from the “Beck’s Major Commentaries” series to the Civil Code (ed. by M. Gutowski) and to the Act on Copyright and Related Rights (ed. by J. Kępiński), as well as the author of publications in the field of intellectual property law and unfair competition.

He lectures in the postgraduate programme “Law of New Technologies” at SWPS University, where he teaches courses on “Protection of Intellectual Property Rights and Trade Secrets” and “IT Contracts.”

He has conducted training sessions and academic classes on intellectual property and civil law and is a speaker at academic conferences.
