Profile

Lawyer with many years of experience in serving corporate clients and the financial sector. As a Partner, he heads the Banking & Finance Department. He advises on banking, commercial, civil and capital market law.

Experience

He specializes in financial sector regulation, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions, corporate restructuring, contract negotiation and corporate services. He advised the largest commercial banks, participating in, among other things, the introduction of BLIK payments, the sale of a multibillion-dollar bond portfolio and the first implementation of the new AT1 capital instrument in Poland. He handled M&A transactions worth billions of zlotys. He also took part in numerous restructuring projects and complex legal audits.

In his career to date, he has provided advisory services in the areas of corporate governance, corporate governance and investor relations to banks, multinational corporations, financial institutions, entities with local government and State Treasury participation, as well as the largest companies listed on the WSE.

He is the author of more than a dozen scientific publications, including commentaries on the Civil Code, the Bond Act, the Financial Instruments Trading Act and the Public Offering Act. He defended his doctoral dissertation in the field of corporate governance issues, protection of minority shareholders and shareholders, as well as groupings of companies and intra-group relations.
