Mateusz Stańczyk. Advocate. Of counsel.
Mr. Stańczyk specialises in transaction advisory and consulting on R&D investments involving public funds, additionally providing public companies with legal advice on capital market law and company law.
Within his practice, he has ensured comprehensive legal services to an mWIG40 company and provided advisory to other companies listed on the WSE, with special focus on confidential information disclosure. Furthermore, he has advised clients in M&A and JV transactions and on the acquisition and management of business infrastructure. Mr. Stańczyk has advised on design and negotiation of a financing structure for specialized venture capital projects and projects aimed at financing innovative products and services using public funds. He has a strong background in drafting and analysing internal legislation in companies operating in regulated sectors.
Mr. Stańczyk graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, and since 2017 has been enrolled with the Warsaw Bar as an advocate.
He wrote a monograph on defence against hostile takeovers (“Statut spółki akcyjnej jako środek obrony przed wrogim przejęciem”, published in 2014) and is a contributor to Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, where he has written on issues in business activity.
Mr. Stańczyk works in English and is also a speaker of French.
