Energa-Obrót S.A. amicably resolved all its disputes regarding so-called green certificates with yet another business partner. This is the seventh dispute settled by Energa-Obrót S.A. with wind farms sued in September 2017. Throughout the negotiation process, the company was supported by our interdisciplinary energy law and litigation expert team managed by Mr. Paweł Łącki, PhD, and Ms. Patrycja Starczewska.
The parties to the settlement agreement decided not to continue their cooperation on the basis of contracts challenged by Energa-Obrót S.A.
‘This is great news to our client’, comments Paweł Łącki, who co-heads the energy law practice at SMM Legal. ‘In this way, with our support, Energa-Obrót S.A. has already amicably settled disputes concerning more than a half (57.5%) of the total installed capacity of all sued wind farms’, explains Dr. Łącki.
