Once again our Firm has been highlighted across five distinct categories in THE LEGAL 500 EMEA 2022 ranking. Relying on the opinions of our clients, the analysts recognized the expertise of our team across several fields: Corporate and M&A, Capital markets, Intellectual Property, Litigation and Energy. On top of this, eight of our lawyers earned individual distinctions.

Our precedent-setting projects related to the largest mergers in the Polish energy sector, including the merger of PKN ORLEN S.A. And LOTOS S.A., have earned us highlights in two categories: Capital markets) and Commercial, corporate and M&A.
In both cases, the highlighted team was led by Prof. Maciej Mataczyński. Our clients emphasized the unique expertise of our lawyers, their professionalism and client-oriented attitude, attentive to the needs and the specificity of client’s operations. As in the previous year, our lawyers Tomasz Jaranowski, Magdalena Cisowska and Miłosz Malaga, PhD, were individually highlighted in these categories.
On top of that, our clients have also appreciated our advisory across all stages of energy investment procedures and our support in the green transition process. Our Energy Department
and its head lawyers, Paweł Łącki, PhD and Michał Tarka, earned a distinction in the Energy and natural resources category.
For many years now, our Firm has been consistently recommended with regard to the matters of Intellectual property. This year’s ranking emphasized our creative and bold approach to precedent-setting and innovative cases. The head of the team, Prof. Rafał Sikorski, skilfully combining his extensive academic knowledge and business acumen, was highlighted by the ranking analysts individually.
And finally, The LEGAL 500 distinguished our Litigation practice. Our clients recommending us in the Dispute resolution category not only praised the expertise of our team, but also fast response time, flexibility and our innovative solutions. Two individual distinctions in this category went to our Managing Partners – Przemysław Maciak and Prof. Maciej Mataczyński. A distinction was also awarded to our Senior Partner, Prof. Rafał Sikorski.
