Another edition of the SMM Legal Summer Internship Programme has come to an end. Over the course of eight weeks, three interns selected through our recruitment process, Marta Goryczka, Wojciech Reck, and Aleksander Bręgiel, had the opportunity to gain insight into the day-to-day work of a law firm and develop their professional skills under the guidance of our lawyers.
The programme was designed to provide participants with exposure to a variety of legal practice areas. During their internships, each participant worked in four departments of the firm: Civil Litigation, Criminal Law, and Intellectual Property (IP), as well as an additional department chosen according to their individual professional interests. The selected specialisations included Employment Law and Corporate Law.
Throughout the programme, the interns took part in ongoing client projects, supported legal teams in researching and analysing legal issues, and had the opportunity to observe the work of lawyers across different practice areas. Thanks to the programme’s rotational structure, they were able to gain a broader understanding of various fields of law and make more informed decisions about their future career paths.
