International STICS Conference in Vilnius

On 4-5 June, Mykolas Romeris University in Vilnius held a conference entitled “SOCIAL TRANSFORMATIONS IN CONTEMPORARY SOCIETY 2015 (STICS 2015). During the conference, Mr. Tomasz Lewandowski presented two papers: He participated in the legal sciences panel with a presentation entitled Responsibility to protect as a matter of international solidarity and in a social sciences panel with a paper Individual or collective rights? The meaning of cultural rights in the UN system of the protection of human rights. Both papers concerned the research carried out by Mr. Lewandowski in performance of the “Preludium” and “Opus” academic grants financed by the National Science Centre.
