On Thursday, 22 September 2016, the morning show "Poranek na BiS" on TVN Biznes i Świat featured Łukasz Bielak, a legal counsel and specialist in telecommunication law at SMM Legal.
The show was devoted to discussing roaming charges abolished by the European Commission, with a special focus on the position of the European Commission on fair use policy. Bielak confirmed that starting on 15 June 2017 all roaming charges for voice and data services will be eliminated. Consequently, all phone users staying abroad, but within the Community, will pay the same rates for phone conversations or data transmission as in their home countries.
