From the 10th-11th of September 2015, the Wirtschaft Universität and the ‘European Company and Financial Law Review’ held a conference in Vienna. Prof. Maciej Mataczyński, managing partner at SMM Legal, presented his paper entitled General Meetings in European Model Company Act from the perspective of Polish law.
The conference was aimed at presenting the results of an 8-year-long project to standardize European company law (European Model Company Act, EMCA). The event attracted more than a hundred attendees, including major figures in the field of company law from European and American universities.
