On Friday, 16.01.2015, Jarosław Bełdowski, partner at SMM Legal, appeared on TOK FM’s “Raport gospodarczy” show. The show was dedicated to the discussion of the business environment following the decision of the Swiss National Bank to abandon its currency cap against the euro. When commenting on the ideas of centrally implemented solutions, Jarosław Bełdowski warned against populism behind such suggestions and their actual costs.
He recommended a high degree of cautiousness in making any amendments to the loan agreements already in force and pointed out to a broad range of possible solutions available to borrowers under agreements they have concluded with their banks (e.g. the suspension of repayments or the extension of the financing period).
