In a couple of days, and only a few days apart, two high-profile international academic events dedicated to intellectual property law issues will take place. Both will be attended by Mr. Rafał Sikorski, doctorus habilitatus and partner at SMM Legal.
On Friday, 12 June in Washington, D.C. (USA), Mr. Rafał Sikorski – as the only expert from Poland – will sit on a discussion panel on patent law during the Patent Pledges Symposium 2015, held jointly by the American University Washington College of Law, and the University of Utah – S.J. Quinney College of Law.

Just one week later, on Friday 19 June, Mr. Rafał Sikorski will participate in the ALAI 2015 International Congress in Bonn, organised by ALAI Germany and the Max Planck Institute to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the German copyright act. As a specialist on intellectual property law, Mr. Sikorski will co-moderate a discussion on free advertisement-financed services, together with a representative from YouTube.
