On 05-08 August 2018, the Hanken School of Economics and the IPR University Center in Helsinki hosted the prestigious annual international academic congress organised by ATRIP – the International Association for the Advancement and Research in Intellectual Property.
As in previous years, Prof. Rafał Sikorski, Partner and Head of the Intellectual Property Team at SMM Legal, joined the group of international experts. He delivered a lecture entitled ‘The meaning of fair and reasonable in the context of FRAND commitment’ focusing on the FRAND commitment to license patents essential to practice technological standards.
The ATRIP congress is a major international academic event in the field of intellectual property law. Every year it is held in a different part of the world. Previously, the congress was organised in places as diverse as Poland and New Zealand. Next year the experts will gather in Nashville, Tennessee (USA).
