This year SMM Legal is celebrating its 20th anniversary. It’s a unique opportunity for us to both look back and into the future.
The new generation lawyers – that was the motto of our firm when founded in 2003. Apart from innovation, our key strength was specialisation. ‘The times of the one-man-orchestra lawyer are a song of the past’, Mr. Przemysław Maciak said at the time. Our ambition was to establish in Poznań a law firm capable of competing with the strongest players in the country.
One year into our practice, our team was composed of 7 lawyers. Today, after 20 years, we have as many as 100 employees providing services across two offices – in Warsaw and in Poznań. We focus on legal advisory in the field of economic, energy and digital corporate transition.
