Two of our excellent lawyers, Monika Adamczak and Mateusz Stańczyk, make up one the two teams admitted to the semi-finals of the European Innovation Procurement Awards in “The Procurement Leadership” category. The first edition of EUIPA has been organised by the European Innovation Council as part of the Horizon Europe programme .
Both experts have been lending their unique expertise to our clients, assisting them in the implementation and roll-out of various programmes in an innovative R&D formula.
‘Being shortlisted to participate in the EUIPA 2021 semi-finals is more than a source of professional satisfaction’, says Mateusz Stańczyk. ‘It’s a proof that it’s not only the innovations developed by our clients but also the legal models we help them create that are ground-breaking and contribute to addressing urgent social problems, such as the climate change’, adds Mr. Stańczyk.
The aim of the European Innovation Procurement Awards EUIPA 2021 is to identify and distinguish the best players implementing innovative solutions in the EU market. A jury composed of independent experts has selected 11 finalists across 3 categories – ‘The Innovation procurement strategy’, ‘The Facing societal challenges’ and ‘The Procurement leadership’.
In October, all nominees will be invited to talk individually with the jury members. The winners will be announced during the European Innovation Council’s summit in November.
‘The courage to take bold moves and look for innovative solutions have always made part of SMM Legal’s DNA’, says Przemysław Maciak, our Firm’s Managing Partner. We congratulate our experts and keep our fingers crossed for their success in the finals.
