Energy transition is among the key themes of the 32nd Economic Forum in Karpacz.
Invited by the Polish-German Chamber of Industry and Commerce, advocate Mateusz Stańczyk, together with other members of the “Green Energy – interdependencies of the automotive and energy sectors” panel, discussed the challenges inherent to the postulates of zero-emissions manufacturing and products, the expectations of the industry with regard to energy policy as well as keeping and attracting investors to Poland.
In view of the upcoming changes in the automotive sector, effective partnership between various stakeholders, including the industry, local authorities, governments, energy companies and the legislator, becomes of utmost importance – emphasized Mr. Mateusz Stańczyk.
The remaining participants unanimously agreed that the collaboration of all the interesting parties is a precondition for meeting environmental standards and EU norms.
The topics discussed at the Economic Forums also included the use of hydrogen as an alternative fuel for industry.
In July 2023, Mr. Stańczyk, as a recognized expert in the field, developed with our SMM Legal team a recommendation for the Ministry for Climate and the Environment regarding the support for the production of green, low-emission hydrogen. The works of the Hydrogen Agreement working subgroup produced a recommendation that takes account of the standpoint of representatives of the industry, the financial sector and public institutions.
The application of hydrogen in the industry is also a topic that we have discussed in one of the episodes of our SMM Legal Talks podcast.
