MOVE – International Mobility Congress is the most important event dedicated to the future of the automotive sector in Poland. Each year, the congress brings together an international cohort of hundreds of experts and practitioners in the e-mobility sector, committed to fostering zero-emission and innovative transportation solutions. During the inaugural event, the MOVE Congress awards were presented to the stakeholders dedicated to zero-emission and innovative transportation. SMM Legal was among those honoured with this prestigious distinction.
Our Firm received this esteemed recognition for its significant and enduring contribution to the development of the legal and legislative landscape in support of innovation in the Polish hydrogen market. It was accepted by Mateusz Stańczyk, Partner at SMM Legal, whose daily work focuses on supporting businesses, research and public sector institutions in matters related to the financing of innovations and the green transition. Mateusz is also deeply involved in initiatives related to the use of hydrogen as a renewable energy source.
‘At SMM Legal, we embrace the imperative of sustainable transition. We approach it from a broad perspective and are supportive of change, as confirmed by the awarded distinction, ‘ says Mateusz Stańczyk. The event was attended by the representatives of public administration, industry organizations, automotive, fuel and energy sectors as well as research and science. The fact that the distinction is awarded by a Board consisting of outstanding experts who have years of experience in the e-mobility sector adds further weight to the honour,’ adds Mr. Stańczyk.
The award presentation was preceded by speeches by the Minister of Science – Mr. Dariusz Wieczorek and Secretaries of State – Minister Jacek Tomczak and Mr. Krzysztof Bolesta, as well as the President of the Polish Automotive Industry Association – Mr. Jakub Farys.
The distinction represents a huge success for Mateusz and the entire SMM Legal Team. At our Firm, we have always looked to the future and developed new areas of legal advisory. Today both hydrogen and electromobility are among the key – though not exclusive – fields of our practice.
